How to spot Instagram followers

It's likely that, even if you've never bought followers, you've still been followed by a few bots. This is largely unavoidable — and many bots are harmless — but you should still report them to Instagram. The more volatile bots might try to phish you by sending spam or harmful links via DM, and it's not worth the risk of keeping them around.
Instagram cracked down on third-party apps that boost your account using fake followers and likes late last year, promising that there would be repercussions for users who continued to buy bots. (It's unclear what, exactly, those repercussions were.) But that didn't mark the end of fake followers: In fact, according to a survey that made the rounds earlier this week, celebrity accounts like Ellen DeGeneres, BTS, and Ariana Grande have fake follower counts between 46 and 49 percent. According to CNBC, fake followers on influencer accounts will cost brands a total of $1.3 billion this year alone.
How to spot a fake account
To spot a fake account, watch for a few telltale signs. For instance, if you notice a user liking a random assortment of your photos or leaving random, generic comments ("great post!") in rapid succession, there's a good chance it's affiliated with a third-party booster and is trying to tempt you into following it back. At the very least, it's someone trying to rapidly inflate their follower count — probably not a person you want to follow anyway.
It's also helpful to look at the profile itself. If the user is following thousands of people but doesn't have many followers or posts themselves, or if their account appears to have been inactive for a long time, feel free to be suspicious. Of course, there are sneakier bots who do post a lot of content in an attempt to appear real. If you're not sure, pop a photo or two into a reverse Google image search and see if it's been lifted from another user — or another website entirely.
And we've all seen those super obvious fake accounts. There's the bot that posts a bunch of stolen photos of different women as if you will not notice they're not the same person. Then there's the fake discount account, which promises low prices on luxury items (frequently Ray-Bans) in an attempt to get you to click on a suspicious link.
Let us not forget the most obvious culprit of all: the account with nothing on it. No picture, no posts, no followers. Their handle is "Chloe8438488382" or some garbage like that. Goodbye, bot. You did not even put forth an effort.
Finally, it must be said: Just because someone meets one of these criteria does not automatically make them a bot. They could simply be really bad at Instagram.

Which football leagues do we cover?
There are so many leagues out there for fans to bet on and predict on and this stage, that you won’t be surprised to discover we also cover the majority of them. We primarily discuss the six biggest leagues (in our mind) that we’re going to go on to discuss now, and all of them have unique traits and attributes that we believe make them fascinating to watch.
Premier League – The English Premier League is considered by many to be the most entertaining division of free football on the planet, and it’s kind of hard to argue against that. Many of the world’s top clubs compete there, and when it comes to the finances involved, it’s pretty difficult to say they aren’t at the top of the list. Manchester United are obviously considered to be the biggest name, but alongside them, you’ve got the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and so many more.
La Liga or Primera Division – Perhaps the greatest football we’ve ever seen, Lionel Messi, has been calling La Liga home with Barcelona for longer than we can remember. As such that kind of puts them forward as one of the primary frontrunners in the debate of ‘best league in the world’, and the actual style of play certainly suits that theory. Things are a bit slower over there with Barca, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid often dominating proceedings, but they certainly know how to get results.
Serie A – The Italian league is on the rise after spending a few years in the doldrums, and it is being led by the surging juggernaut of Juventus. They’ve been consistently reigning supreme for almost a decade now, and in the last twelve months, they’ve had Cristiano Ronaldo guiding the way. You’ve also got both Milan clubs who are steeped in history, as well as Napoli, Lazio, and Roma.
Bundesliga – Football is a simple game: you run around for 90 minutes, and then at the end, the Germans win. That’s the famous saying, and while it hasn’t been as true in the last few years as it has in previous generations, they’re still located towards the top of the food chain. The Bundesliga clubs have some of the most insane fans we’ve ever seen, with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich continuing to set the standard at the top.

The quality of the league itself isn’t considered to be on the same level as some of the alternatives we’ve already listed, but even so, it’s hard not to marvel at the excellence of Paris Saint-Germain after what they’ve been able to accomplish in recent times.

The Champions League brings together the biggest and best teams from throughout the continent, in a competition that allows them to battle it out and determine who really does stand at the top of the mountain. Real Madrid has dominated in recent years, but beyond that, the quality of football is always just so remarkable to watch.
Europa League – For the teams who are just on the edge of greatness, the Europa League provides them with a chance to prove that they can do battle with other sides from across Europe. The winner of this competition is able to make their way into the UCL the following season, which is a big enough incentive for anyone. Historically, the Spanish teams seem to thrive here.

One of the most well-known imposter sites is freecreditreport.com. The site's name itself hints that the site offers free credit reports. However, the credit report you get through freecreditreport.com isn't completely free. There are some strings attached, and if you're not careful, you can end up paying to access your credit report.To get your "free" credit report from freecreditreport.com, you have to sign up for a trial subscription to a credit monitoring service. Signing up for the trial requires your credit card number. If you forget to cancel the subscription before the trial period ends, your credit card will be charged, and you've just paid for that free credit report. Worse, your credit card will be charged each month until you cancel the subscription. If you're not watching your credit card statement closely, you can end up being charged for months before you realize it's been have been scammed.
In 2005, the World Privacy Forum found 233 free credit report imposter sites, many of which included affiliate links to one of the three credit bureaus. None of the imposters had links to the real site for free credit reports.
